The advance team might have
been in Seattle some time this year. This was an important reconnaissance
mission for which the objective was to locate a suitable address for a
northwest base of operations. Personnel
recruitment is always an important secondary objective on these trips. We
can't survive without adding good people either through voluntary assignment,
or through a forced draft. We prefer when the new people join of their
own volition, but through the magical power of hypnosis, we can at least make
them think it was their own choice even when it might not have been.
Sometimes that's all you can do.
The team spent the first
several days scrambling to find just the right spot. This is hard work
and most people don't possess the determination to continue the work as the
failures mount. All of the AcMo staff has true grit and determination or
they wouldn't be on staff in the first place. The fear was that the trip
would end before finding the perfect spot. We would never be able to
control anything in Seattle if we left without establishing a location for our
new base.
Every stop on our tour of
world domination involves scouting for a new foothold to strengthen our
operation. We utilize the same thought process ants do when establishing
colonies: build and multiply as fast as
possible. You may be able to stamp out a
few of us, but there will be hundreds or thousands more waiting as
replacements.
The criterion for new bases
is not too complex. It can't be too hot or too cold, too small or too
big, needs close access to major freeways, and must have at least seven
possible egress routes in case of an emergency.
It also has to be able to withstand strong wind gusts. These are non-negotiable hard points.
Communications infrastructures that we can piggyback off of must already
be established. We prefer fiber optics and the highest throughput we can
leech. This is sometimes the most difficult aspect to acquire, but we’re
sunk without the Internet. We need our
most important education tool: YouTube.
Because of the classified
nature of some of our work and the remote areas we operate, we also need ready
access to essential survival supplies. We like to post up near car
dealerships so we can peruse their parts inventory after hours in case we need
to replace something off of a customer's car. We also need to eat, and
since I still haven't solved the edible 3D printed food problem, we need to be
in close proximity to some kind of store that sells food and produce. Our
on-staff chefs handle the magic of turning those supplies into edible food.
I still don't understand how they do it every day, but they persevere.
It must be the love of the challenge.
We have learned a lot of
valuable information through our extensive experience of establishing new bases
in foreign lands. For example, it is not wise to announce the
establishment of a new base by firing weapons into the sky. This angers
the locals and puts law enforcement officials on notice. Our business thrives by operating in the
shadows, and it is best that we do not draw unneeded attention. That is why I only share this information
with you because I know you can keep a secret.
Also, property records are
an easy way to track movements, so we use a plethora of shell companies and
floating accounts to procure our land. Nothing
is in AcMo's name, but we are involved in everything. It would be
impossible to keep track of our extensive holdings if I didn't keep such
precise mental records.
The details of our Seattle
area adventures still need to stay private for a number of reasons, but the
reason for this post was too exciting to conceal any longer. Not only
have we found the perfect location for our base, but also it appears to have
been created for us. Sometimes the
pieces seem to fall into place by an invisible hand. This is one of those
times.
We are excited to announce
that the target location has been selected. We have full approval from
Fred to commence construction on our newest facilities. The safety of our
team is of utmost importance, so we will not be sharing the actual address for
security reasons. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.

We will be sharing more
about our Seattle scouting mission and the progress on our base in the coming
months. Completion is slated for early 2029, but we are hopeful with new
advances in construction technology and a more reliable workforce, we can
reduce the timeframe by at least ten years. At the moment, there is an
organized group that has proven to be detrimental to our expansion
efforts. We plan to add them to the list
of threats we need to assimilate. That list seems to grow faster than we
create new revenue streams. I am beginning
to think we should be in the war business full-time and transform our other objectives
into side projects. I will convene a
working group to schedule a meeting to discuss this so we can create a feasibility
study to take to the board.
The human brain finds patterns in everything. Sometimes they don't exist. Our growth
is erratic by design because that makes us harder to track and less likely to be
where you think we will be. Moving
targets are hardest to hit when the mind can't predict the trajectory. We mimic bacteria in a way. We do our best to remain invisible while
growing exponentially. By the time our
organization becomes visible, we will be too large and strong to eliminate with
antibiotics. We will be spreading our
reach near you sooner than you think.
