Unbreakable Bond

Our scientists are hard at work trying to create either an unbreakable bond and/or self-repairing materials.  The self-repairing materials can be combined with paint that possesses the same qualities to create a car that looks showroom new after years of devastating impacts with solid objects.  This technology can fundamentally change the way AcMo’s automotive division operates.  If we can succeed in either or both of those two objectives we can reengineer the entire fleet of test vehicles and we will never have to worry about on or off-track incidents again.  We will also be protected from evidence of unauthorized vehicle usage while in our possession.

A side bonus to our work means that we can terminate our insurance agent once the projects are online.  While that work is ongoing, we have found a way to enter the market in the short-term for little capital investment.  Those are always welcome words and the profit potential for this new project is astounding.  This is an offshoot of a plea from Snob Duben for a 3D printed car.  He is adamant that AcMo needs to operate in that sector.  It isn’t often I listen to Snob, but I decided it might be worth it this one time.  We are excited to bring a road legal urban assault transport vehicle to market soon.

Our extensive collection of crash test data has allowed us to conclude that there is only way to make a truly crash proof car.  It must be something so ugly that no one would ever want to drive it.  The team believes that something similar to the Probation Box but even more visually unappealing might work.  It might also require anvils instead of wheels for further discouragement.  This is our current beta version of our crash-proof vehicle:

Actually, this is the original while ours is an indistinguishable copy with a different color scheme to avoid legal action against us.  There are a few drawbacks to this design, not limited to reduced visibility, wallowing in the corners—while it stays on the road, and unacceptable high-speed aerodynamic drag.  The planning committee has scheduled a meeting to determine if further development of this concept is warranted considering we are concurrently taking the project to the next level.

The years toiling with failed projects were not total losses.  We have learned that the best way to succeed in business is to copy someone else's successful project.  The next best approach is to start with someone's successful design and appropriate the relevant aspects to create a new wholly owned design.  Both of the approaches mentioned have some legal risk attached, but nothing great has ever been won without taking a risk.  Local Motors were kind enough to unknowingly provide AcMo with a template and detailed schematics for our 3D printed car.

AcMo's scientists have collected some of the finest innovations in the automotive industry and are working right now to combine them into one cohesive package that will change the way you view personal transportation forever.

Once we crack the software for all of these systems, it should be a trivial task to combine the technologies into our ultimate vehicle, similar to the method Voltron uses to merge into its ultimate form.

Beta targeting system being tested by Ford.

Volvo's more advanced targeting system.
Volvo’s solution has better sensors and is able to differentiate between hostile and non-enemy forces to provide worry free targeting solutions.  Once the code has been written and the armaments fitted, we will be able to track and destroy during the day or night thanks to the combination of night vision and extra precise sensor technology.  That kind of power will enable average commuters to take control of the daily drive and remove all impediments to a smooth trip.  This is luxury defined.

We do not do this work solely for the personal accolades.  No, our motivation is much bigger than that.  Our aim is to fulfill a long-held dream of millions to introduce Mario Kart into the real world.  Traffic is about to become a whole lot less inconvenient for AcMo’s clients.  Hurry to pre-order your ultimate urban transport vehicle with assault capabilities now.  Supplies are limited and weapons sales are closely monitored, so expect long delays.  At least delivery delays will be explainable unlike most traffic jams.
