VR For Real

Everyone always says that bigger is better:  bigger explosions, bigger vehicles, bigger marshmallows, what’s not to like?  The minds at AcMo have taken that concept and made it bigger.  We figured out how to turn the 600 square foot apartment pictured above into this:

Image not to scale.
Virtual Realty is the new tech frontier AcMo plans to exploit.  This is an untapped market with enormous potential.  The idea developed from a typo during the creation of the Mind Control II post.  That typo became the gateway to a tantalizing new revenue stream.

AcMo can use VR tech to enable residents who live in 600 square foot apartments to believe they are living in 6000 square feet residences.  Of course these mansions come equipped with virtual infinity pools, hot tubs, and ocean views.  All of the perks of a fabulous beachfront mansion without the drawbacks such as maintenance, strangers invading your beach space, birds, tidal waves, etc. can be yours.

The padded walls and helmet recommended to prevent frequent and severe head trauma while using the VR units are extra cost items.  However, in my expert opinion, I must recommend selecting those cost options.  Due to the need to maintain absurd profit margins, all of the AcMo approved VR units are constructed from low-grade cardboard.  This keeps our costs low allowing us to inflate the wholesale costs to keep everyone but the consumer happy.  We are proud to remind everyone that we use 100% recycled cardboard in our products.

These units are not toys despite their appearance.  Extreme care must be exercised when wearing the units.  It is advisable to start in short increments while working toward longer-term exposure.  It has been noted on a few occasions that some test subjects have become lost in their virtual mansions, and have been unable to remove their goggles to find an exit.

AcMo worries about customer safety and we have a 24-hour support line available to modify existing homes or reboot units that become stuck in a time out corner.  We are happy to provide this type of support because we know a customer who is stuck in the corner will not continue to buy new products.

Some of our exclusive clients have decided that their 6000 sq. ft. homes are not enough and have doubled their virtual home size to compensate.  Based on user feedback and data we have secretly collected, this is a bad idea.  Homes greater than 10,000 sq. ft. lead to more divorces and to more people and things being lost than smaller homes.  Because the customer is always right, we will happily install software to accommodate any home size desired.  That is our pledge to you.  We also promise that we do not share our secret recordings with any unauthorized 3rd party vendors.  The semblance of your privacy is important to AcMo.
